Inter Milan have completed the free-transfer signing of England defender John Stones after his Manchester City contract expired at the end of June. The 32-year-old has signed a two-year deal reported to be worth around €4m a season, choosing Inter over interest from Arsenal, Chelsea and Juventus. He becomes only the fourth Englishman to play for the club, following Gerry Hitchens, Paul Ince and Ashley Young. Stones leaves City after 295 appearances and six Premier League titles, three FA Cups, three League Cups, the Champions League and the Club World Cup.
