Al Hilal agree deal to sign Crysencio Summerville from West Ham
Netherlands winger Crysencio Summerville is set to leave West Ham United for Saudi Pro League side Al Hilal, with the club having completed his medical in a deal reported between £60million and £68million, beating competition from Manchester United and Roma.

Al Hilal have moved on from a long pursuit of Raphinha to instead agree a fee for Summerville, with reports putting the deal at a fixed £55million plus add-ons taking it toward £60-68million (around €80million). Roma had an earlier bid of around £39million rejected, while Manchester United and Aston Villa were also credited with interest before the Saudi club's offer proved decisive.
Medical done, signature pending
Summerville has already completed the medical checks requested by Al Hilal, with the club now working through the final paperwork before an official announcement. The move would rank among the most expensive departures from a Premier League squad this summer.
A breakout year in England
The 24-year-old joined West Ham from Leeds United in August 2024 for a reported £25million and finished last season with seven goals and three assists, form that helped earn him a first call-up to the Netherlands squad. He made his international debut in June and then scored on his World Cup bow, netting in a 2-2 group-stage draw with Japan.

Once completed, the deal continues a summer of heavy investment from Saudi Pro League clubs in European talent, with Al Hilal adding a proven Premier League and World Cup performer to their squad ahead of the new season.
